• What is the GHA DISCOVERY Status Match offer?

  GHA DISCOVERY provides an opportunity for customers with elite status with an eligible airline, hotel, or cruise line loyalty program to apply for a Status Match. Selected credit card holders are also eligible to match. Once eligible customers pay the application fee and are approved, they will receive GHA DISCOVERY Titanium or GHA DISCOVERY Platinum status, valid until the end of the subsequent calendar year. Additionally, they will receive a gift of DISCOVERY Dollars (D$), the rewards currency of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program.




• Do I have to be a GHA DISCOVERY member to participate in the offer?

  No. You can apply for the offer without being a GHA DISCOVERY member. Enrol later - to receive the D$ gift and enjoy the programme benefits.
  
  If you are already a member, you do not need to create a new GHA DISCOVERY account. The enrolment link we provide you for upgrading your status will allow you to log in to your existing GHA DISCOVERY account and upgrade it instantly. To allow us to match the data, the application email and GHA DISCOVERY sign up email must be the same.




• What airline, hotel or cruise line status levels are eligible to apply?

  You must hold an elite status with an eligible loyalty program listed in the eligibility table.
  
  To confirm eligibility for this offer, applicants may be required to provide a valid government-issued ID (passport or driver’s licence).




• How much value in DISCOVERY Dollars will approved applicants receive? What can I do with these DISCOVERY Dollars?

  With the GHA DISCOVERY Platinum status match, you will receive a gift of D$50. GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status comes with a D$75 gift. D$1 is equivalent to USD 1. Please find more information about earning and spending DISCOVERY Dollars here.
  
  Approved applicants will have their D$ applied to their account within ten (10) business days after completing the Status Match upgrade.




• Which credit card holders are eligible to apply?

  Eligible applicants include holders of Mastercard, American Express and Visa cards issued in specific regions. Please refer to the eligibility table for tier mapping.
  
  To begin the Status Match process using an eligible credit card type, select the credit card that you hold from the main page as you begin your application. No other types of cards or countries are eligible under this offer.




• Are there eligibility requirements beyond having status with an eligible elite program (eg: airline/hotel/cruise/credit card)?

  The GHA DISCOVERY Status Match is open to status holders of eligible loyalty programs, as well as eligible American Express whose cards are issued in North America, South America, Australia, Europe, India & China. Eligible Visa cardholders in North America, South American and Europe may apply. Mastercard cardholders whose cards are issued in North America and South America may also apply. Applicants may be required to provide evidence upon submission of their application.
  
  




• What GHA DISCOVERY status can I obtain through the offer?

  Approved members will receive a GHA DISCOVERY Platinum or GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status based on the equivalent elite status level with their current loyalty program or the credit card they hold. See the chart below to see what tier you will receive upon approval.
  
  Refer to the GHA DISCOVERY website for benefits associated with each tier: https://www.ghadiscovery.com/gha-discovery-benefits. The “Status Sharing” benefit does not apply.




• How long is the GHA DISCOVERY status valid if my Status Match request is approved?

  Upon approval, your GHA DISCOVERY status will be valid until 31 December 2027. To retain your GHA DISCOVERY status, you must re-qualify based on the published GHA DISCOVERY program requirements on https://www.ghadiscovery.com/our-programme




• Is there an application fee?

  The application and processing fees differ per tier and region. Application fees are subject to change.
  
  PLATINUM APPLICATION - US $100
  TITANIUM APPLICATION - US $150

• How long is the GHA DISCOVERY Status Match offer available?

  The offer starts on May 1, 2026 and will end on September 1, 2026. GHA and StatusMatch.com reserve the right to end or amend the campaign without prior notice.




• What information is required to submit a Status Match application?

  To participate in the campaign, you need to apply by providing the details of your airline, hotel, or cruise line program status, paying the associated application fee and using a valid email address where we can communicate with you.
  
  If you are matching through your credit card, you must pay the associated application fee with the eligible credit card.
  
  During the application process, StatusMatch will ask you for evidence of your loyalty status with eligible companies (for example, a photo of your card). You may be required to provide other personal details, such as passport or driver's license, to help us validate your information and eligibility.

• How soon will I receive my new GHA DISCOVERY status after applying?

  You will be informed within three (3) business days following your completed application of the requested information and documentation whether or not your Status Match has been approved. Once approved, you will receive a link by email to your new status upgrade. Following the steps included in the enrolment link, your new status upgrade will be instant.




• How soon will I receive my gift of DISCOVERY Dollars (D$)?

  Following your request approval and new status application, D$ will be applied to your account within ten (10) business days.




• I successfully matched with GHA DISCOVERY, and since then, my other airline/hotel/cruise line status has been upgraded to an even higher tier. Can I upgrade my GHA DISCOVERY status?

  No. Status Matches are calculated on the tier you hold at the time of application.
  
  If you are, for example, about to be upgraded to the next tier with your airline, we recommend applying for the GHA DISCOVERY Status Match after you have that higher tier in your account. Only one (1) status match is allowed per person.




• I have previously taken advantage of a Status Match offer with GHA DISCOVERY. Can I apply for this offer and get upgraded?

  No. Your GHA DISCOVERY account may only receive a maximum of one (1) Status Match upgrade.




• How soon should I complete the upgrade process upon receiving the enrolment link?

  This link will be active two weeks after the offer expires, until 20 April 2026,and will be automatically deactivated after that date. You will not be able to claim the offer after that date.




• I am a top-tier member of an eligible airline/hotel/cruise line loyalty program. Can I select a lower tier other than GHA DISCOVERY Titanium to status-match?

  If you hold an eligible top-tier status with an eligible airline/hotel/cruise line loyalty program that has tier-mapping into GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status, during the application process, you may be asked by StatusMatch.com if you would like to be matched to GHA DISCOVERY Platinum or Titanium**. Applicable fees for each tier apply.
